Thema: Installtionsverzeichnis ausblenden

Vielleicht kann mir hier jemand helfen?

Ich versuche schon seit Tagen bei meiner Joomla Installation das Verzeichnis in der URL auszublenden.

zb. htpp://meinepage.de/jommla - Umleitung funktioniert fast perfekt. Nur im Browser erscheint eben htpp://meinepage.de/jommla und da hätte ich gerne, dass nur htpp://meinepage.de erscheint!

Alle Foren deutsche und englische durchgelesen und bin bis dato zu keiner Lösung gekommen

Habe auch in der configuration.php den var $live_site = ''; auf var $live_site = 'http://meinepage.de'; geändert. Das hat zur Folge, dass das Template nicht mehr richtig anzeigt wird, aber der URL im Browser so wie ich es gerne hätte nämlich htpp://meinepage.de

Irgendwie klappt das nicht bei mir. Ich bin gerade total verzweifelt, ein anderes Wort für meine Lage fällt mir gerade nicht ein :(.
