ich finde die Idee auch gut, habe aber den Eindruck als wollten die Entwickler einen anderen Weg gehen.

... but what I really really like to see in this new realse is the ability to change the administrator folder name when u r installing it an option that can actually ask you for the folder name that u would like to have for your administration instead of using the regular name "administrator"... that could be a nice option and nobody will know how to get in in to ur administrator area bcuz each website will have diferent folder names...

I think at least the foundation for this is included into 1.5. You will be able to modify the path for the administrator with a small single line hack in the core files. I'm not sure if this works correctly, but you could check it out and download the latest version of 1.5 and after installation, change the path in /includes/application.php.
