Das Problem mit Office ist nicht neu - hierzu nehme ich grundsätzlich den "Umweg" über das olle Notepad, da der die ganzen Formatierungen direkt "frisst" und nur noch sauberer Text übrig bleibt. Und das bekommst mit dem Editor ja schnell wieder "in Schuss".
Template zerschossen?! "JoomlaPack" nicht installiert, um "mal eben" ein Backup einzuspielen?? Wichtige Lektion hierzu: Vor solchen Änderungen immer (!!!) Backups machen - mache ich gern per "Meilenstein". Hat was der Gesichtsverfärbung zu tun, die mir ebenfalls nicht steht ...

"Mit dem IE lieb umgehen ..." ... hmmm ... Du suchst wohl etwas wie den Quirks-Mode für IE7, oder?! Denn ansonsten muss ich Dir leider sagen, dass Dein CSS überarbeitungswürdig ist, wenn man auf den Quirks-Mode zurückgreifen muss. Und wenn es so speziell ist, dass es im einen Browser geht und in einem anderen nicht, wirst Dir was anderes überlegen dürfen ... "Quirks-Mode" empfehle ich absolut nicht!
