Thema: Problem beim Aufrufen der Joomla seite auf dem Server und Lokal

Hallo, ich hab schon einige Stunden hier im Forum gesucht aber keine Lösung für meine Probleme gefunden.

Wenn ich Im IE 7 oder Firefox "http://localhost" eingebe passiert nichts und es steht unten in der Statuszeile fertig.
bzw.
Wenn ich Im IE 7 oder Firefox "www.meineseite.de" eingebe passiert nichts und es steht unten in der Statuszeile fertig.

Ich kann meine Joomla seite nur über "http://localhost/index.php" aufrufen.
bzw.
Ich kann meine Joomla seite nur über "www.meineseite.de/index.php" aufrufen.

Ist dies normal.

Dadurch ergibt sich wahrscheinlich auch folgendes Problem:
Wenn ich in den global Configs von Joomla SEO option aktiviere (benutzerfreundliche URLs)und natürlich htaccess.txt in .htaccess umbenannt, kann ich mich im Firefox ganz normal einlogen, aber im IE erscheint dann nach dem einlogen eine leere Seite wo unten in der Statusleiste wieder Fertig ausgegeben wird und oben in der Adresszeile "http://localhost" angegeben ist.

Kann mir hierzu jemand weiterhelfen ? Leider habe ich hier im Forum nichts passendes zu meinem Poblem gefunden.

Welchen Vorteil bringt die Option " SEO Search Engine Optimization " überhaupt genau. Kenne mich da leider nicht so aus.
