Das heißt, dass die Domain example.com keine TLD (Top Level Domain) ist. Das ist eine Second level domain.

danke, ich weiss aber immer noch nicht, ob ich nur den oben erwähnten code reinkopieren muss. also nochmals: was genau muss ich jetzt alles in den htaccess.txt reinpacken bzw. wenn ich .htaccess drausmachen will noch ändern?

auch dieser link hilft mir nicht weiter

und auch dieser link bringt nichts neues....an was kann es liegen, dass wenn ich htaccess.txt so wie beschrieben ändere und man(n) immer noch ohne www die hp aufrufen kann? hat das mit dem serves des providers zu tun?

ich habe jetzt schon viele ausprobiert: mod_rewrite nutzen habe ich auf ja gestellt und die htaccess.txt in .htacess umbenennt. folge davon ist, dass in der configuration.php immer die zeile 20 var $live_site = ' '; so ausgegeben wird anstelle von var $live_site = '/'; ich muss aber den mod_rewrite nutzen auf nein belassen, sonst kann die seite überhaupt nicht aufgerufen werden.

offenbar liegt das problem tiefgründiger. für eine lösung wie ich www.meinehomepage.ch nur so aufrufen kann, danke ich!

ich habe mit meinem provider gesprochen. ich könnte das mit dem www lösen, in dem ich diese hp als topdomain umstelle. das ist so aufwendig, dass er mir davon abrät.

Hey möchte gerne auch umstellen auf nur mehr www.lightpainting-forum.de.

Ich habe die 2 Codes von der 1. Seite in die htaccess.txt hineinkopiert und die Seite ist nicht mehr erreichbar

Nur so zur Info in der Datei steht nichts drinnen, außer 2 Zeilen, und umbennen auf .htaccess funktioniert nicht, bzw. ist dann die Seite nicht erreichbar
