Thema: GZIP Aktivierung bei Strato Hosting

Hallo zusammen,
ich kriege die gzip Kompression nicht nicht ans laufen. Ich habe schon versucht über das Backend die Kompression zu aktivieren = kein erfolgt.
Dann hab ich versucht über die htaccess das ganze zu aktivieren = gibt mir nur einen Server error zurück.

Weiß jemand ob es ein besonderes vorgehen bei strato in sachen joomla gibt?

Ich hab ein einfaches hosting paket also keinen dedicated server oder ähnliches.

Danke auch aber mit der Standard .htaccess ohne meiner dazu geschriebenen GZIP Aktivierung funktioniert es auch nicht
