Thema: Joomla 1.5 und htaccess schreiben

Habe gerde für nen Kunden joomla 1.5 aufgespielt. Soweit auch ok, läuft nach etlichem Problieren. Nun aber, wenn ich die Seite unter xxx.de aufrufen will bekomme ich eine FORBIDDEN Meldung.
Rufe ich unter xxx.de/index.php auf geht es??

Warum??

Wie kann ich die htaccess so schreiben, dass es auch unter xxx.de geht oder auf xxx.de/index.php weitergeleitet wird.

Ich glaube nicht, daß es an der htaccess von Joomla liegt. Liegt im Hauptroot vielleicht noch eine? Wenn ja versuch doch die mal zu löschen.
Nachtrag: Oder schau mal auf der Bearbeitungsoberfläche Deines Providers nach, ob es dort die Möglichkeit gibt verschiedene Ordner zu schützen.

dort ist nur eine HTACCESS Datei. Was ich nicht verstehe ist, dass ich die alte statische Seite im Root aufrufen konnte xxx.de lief.
Alte Seite raus.
Joomla rein. xxx.de aufrufen --> Forbidden Fehlermeldung.
Aufruf xxx.de/index.php aufrufen --> geht

Warum nimmt er die alte index.html und nicht die index.php von Joomla ??

mal in der configuration.php die life site anpassen und dann den Browsercache leeren.

das ist eine servereinstellung.
du kannst die index.html einfach löschen, wenn du sie nicht mehr benötigst oder benennst sie erstmal um...

die Index.html habe ich in einen anderen Ornder gezogen.
Wie bereits geschrieben xxx.de forbidden xxx.de/index.php läuft

Bin ich erstmal auf der seite, dann laufen die unterseiten auch mit xxx.de/news.html bei suma friendly urls.

aber sobald er auf den root geht xxx.de spinnter Forbidden.

also die htaccess Datei sieht normal aus. Kann da keinen Fehler finden.
Eine Umleitung wie Du sie machen willst, würde funktionieren. Aber das ursächliche Problem würde weiter bestehen.
Mich würde interessieren was passiert, wenn Du die Seite mal so aufrufst:
www.deineHomepage.de/index.html

versuch mal, folgende Zeile in die .htaccess einzufügen, vielleicht ist einfach php nicht als Index-Seite festgelegt.
